Microtopping over Tile
This project has been one of the most challenging projects in microtopping as of now. The original floor was a badly and very unleveled Mexican tile with a 1 inch grout gap. We had to apply 5 layers of base coat to even out the floor, then we applied an anti fracture membrane that also prevented the grout lines humidity to show and 3 layers of microtopping. Going this route saved the owner of the house thousands in demolition costs and valuable time in the remodeling process.
